19RC001 Harold
My name is Harold, and I was born in 1966. I’ve been happily married for many years, and together we have one daughter, who holds a very special place in our lives. My family means everything to me — they are my foundation and the source of my greatest pride.
Outside of family life, I have several passions that have been a big part of who I am for many years. One of my greatest hobbies is working with my CB radio. I’ve been fascinated by radio communication ever since I was young. I especially enjoy DXing on the 11-meter band, where I can connect with people from all over the world — sometimes under surprising conditions. It’s always exciting to see who’s out there on the airwaves. I also love collecting and exchanging QSL cards, which are physical reminders of those special radio contacts. Each card tells a story.
I’m also a huge sports fan. I proudly support the Tilburg Trappers, our local ice hockey team. Ice hockey combines speed, strategy, and intensity — and I love the atmosphere during games, the energy on the ice, and the deep bond between the players and the fans. It’s a sport that truly grabs you.
In addition to hockey, I’m also a loyal supporter of PSV Eindhoven, one of the top football clubs in the Netherlands. Whether it’s a big league match or a thrilling European night, I always follow with passion. PSV represents attacking football, tradition, and determination — qualities I deeply admire as a lifelong fan.
In short, I’m a family man with a strong love for communication and sports. Whether I’m tuning into the world on my radio, cheering on the Trappers from the stands, or watching PSV play, I find great joy in these passions. They keep life exciting and connect me with people both near and far.
